In Argentina there are local methods for paying Google Ads, Banelco and PagoMisCuentas — only with a billing address in Argentina and ARS currency. Google applies a 21% VAT perception to payments, and in some provinces a gross income tax perception as well. ARS accounts on monthly invoicing with Banelco have an operating charge on spend from impressions outside Argentina — 1% since May 2025. For advertising in other countries and paying in dollars or USDT, an agency account is more convenient.
How to pay Google directly
| Method | Conditions per Google’s help center |

| PagoMisCuentas | Billing address in Argentina, ARS currency |
Taxes on Google invoices
- 21% VAT perception. With monthly invoicing Google applies a 21% VAT perception to all payments. With prepay, 21% VAT applies to manual payments; a separate 3% rate applies only to registered VAT payers who meet other conditions.
- Gross income tax. In some provinces Google acts as a perception agent for gross income tax.
Operating charge for ARS accounts
Since August 1, 2023, Google has levied an operating charge on ARS accounts on monthly invoicing that pay with Banelco. The charge applies only to spend from impressions and clicks by users outside Argentina. The rate changes: 20% from December 2023 to December 2024, 10% from January to April 2025 and 1% since May 2025. VAT is also charged on the charge itself.
If you advertise an Argentine business abroad from an ARS account, budget for this charge.
Account currency
Currency is set permanently at creation. ARS unlocks local payment methods, but for advertising in other countries and dollar budgets, accounts in USD are easier — one per market.
When an agency account is more convenient
- You advertise in other countries and don’t want to deal with the ARS account operating charge.
- Your budget is in dollars, and paying by bank transfer or in USDT is easier.
- You need several markets in one structure and one balance.
In an agency account Google bills the agency, and you top up your balance with the agency. The tax and currency consequences of paying abroad depend on Argentine law — check them with your accountant.
How to start with Gads
- Submit a request: client type, budget, what you advertise, Telegram or WhatsApp.
- We confirm that the GEOs and currency you need are available before you pay.
- Review takes up to an hour after sign-up, then accounts are issued instantly.
- Top up by bank transfer or in USDT and split the balance across accounts in the dashboard.
The price is only a percentage of actual ad spend: 3% on the first $50,000 a month, 2% on the part up to $150,000 and 1% above. Details on the pricing page.
